System / Network Specialist(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:
Manage, configure, tests, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and servers.
Administration of Servers, network equipment at hosting centre physically and remotely.
To perform system hardening on new server arrivals, setup/configure Active Directory and Windows 2003/2008 Domain controllers
Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks; Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
To size hardware, software and network requirements for upgrade of existing site or on a brand new setup
Network administration (including backup, security management, internet access, and applications support).
Perform support / troubleshooting analysis of servers, network, software, applications and associated systems
Work with local and remote support teams and vendors
Documentation of software installations, access rights and permission of the respective servers. (Hardening information, etc)
Documentation of Firewall rules, policies, settings.
Documentation of network problems and resolutions for future references
Backup Firewall, network devices configuration
Oversee software and network security
Perform Window patches to Servers on weekends and work in tandem with application support team to ensure applications run well after patches had been deployed.
Perform routine maintenance on Applications, Servers, Databases and network infrastructure.
Perform any duties or undertake any responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Core Infrastructure Services AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, MS SQL Server
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in Network/System Engineer or System Administrator.
Good understanding of Client/Server and Internet Technologies
Good technical skills in LAN/WAN, IP networking, installation and configuration of Firewalls (Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper Netscreen, Sonicwall, etc), Loadbalancers, switches and routers
Good knowledge of Security Risk management, Security Governance, Application Security and Security technologies such as system hardening, Firewall, etc.
Preferably having working experience in Datacenter hosting.
Strong ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems
Good understanding of Windows Server, Windows Operating System, Networking technology and Computer hardware.
Able to work with fellow colleagues in troubleshooting hardware, network and application issues.
Able to work independently under pressure or tight schedule and is a strong team player
Able to work and support during and after office hours
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
Excellent PC Skills with good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Access, Visio, MS Project) will be advantageous
Professional certifications (MCSE,CCNA etc) will be an added advantage
